What is Creative Coaching?

Creative Coaching is a supportive, arts-based approach that helps kids and teens build confidence, connection, communication, and social-emotional skills through creativity, conversation, art-making, and low-pressure interaction.


How is this different from therapy?

Sail Creative Coaching is not therapy or mental health treatment. Sessions are coaching and enrichment-based, focused on connection, creativity, and social-emotional growth in a supportive environment. Many families use Creative Coaching alongside therapists, OTs, SLPs, or other providers.

What does a typical session look like?

Sessions are individualized based on each child’s personality and needs, but may include art, movement, conversation, collaborative activities, creative projects, social emotional learning and social interaction in a relaxed, engaging setting.


How often are sessions recommended?

Frequency depends on each child and family’s needs, but many families find that weekly sessions provide the most consistency and opportunity for connection, comfort, and growth over time.
